Here is the latest round of questions from the suggestion box (answered by Bill, Kathleen and Valerie). We are aware there are new questions in there and will get to them as soon as we can.

Why does the loud copier have to be by the people who are on the phone with customer service?
We will look into replacing this copier with a quieter version as soon as that is practical. Originally, the copier was supposed to be in the library, but the floor plan was changed to accommodate much-needed office and archive space.
It would be nice if we had some type of white board with employees’ names listing who is here and who is out (sick, vacation, business, or personal).
A white board will be hung by the mailboxes shortly. Sue will keep it up-to-date. Also, Sue and Bradley will work together so the blog and the white board will not conflict. For example, we don’t want the white board to say that Bill is out when the blog says Bill is in … and so on. We can’t have anybody mistaking Bill for Kathleen or Kathleen for Bill. There is a rumor that this has been happening.
The November Catholic Digest features the article: “The Healing Power of Massage”. I think would be great to offer massages on an employee appreciation day.
We will try to raffle off a massage at the Christmas party; also, Val is looking into whether our health plan has holistic options. We also will continue with the cubicle decorating at Christmas and provide prizes (as we did during the Open House) for that. We will provide a list of guidelines closer to Christmas.
It is 32 degrees outside. When is the air conditioning going to be turned off?
We did ask the bank about this twice. Since the system is programmed by computer, seasonal ups and downs do pose problems. It is not difficult to change, but the computer does what it’s told to do until we tell it otherwise. (Don’t you wish your spouse was like that?) But, anyway: Let your manager know when you are uncomfortable, and your manager will notify Bert.
Thanks, everyone, for your questions!--Kathleen
