Good morning all. Happy Friday (and pay day)!
As mentioned on Wednesday, be sure to disconnect your computer from the
network before leaving for the weekend. I hope you haven't forgotten our
little 'shame and scorn' discussion. I know I haven't.
Julie will be out all next week. She is in Paris for the Bayard union
meeting. And I'm pretty sure that's Paris, France, not Paris, Texas (though
from what I understand they're pretty much the same anyway)
Dan Connors is out today. He will be in Montreal for LWC and GWT meetings
until Thursday. He will be back in the office next Friday (Nov. 11).

Kathleen will be out Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week. She'll be at
the same meetings as Dan.
Bill and Dan S. will be at Harcourt on Monday and Tuesday.
Oxford Update - I received my Oxford membership card in the mail yesterday (Thursday), so be on the lookout for yours.
There was a surplus in Amy's water fund so we purchased a new thermal coffee pot to replace the one we've had for many years. God only knows what was living in that thing! This will keep the coffee fresh and hot all day long. No more excuses for sleeping on the job.

The Board of Directors will meet on Nov 15 in New London. The Executive Committee for North America met this week to prepare for that meeting, to brainstorm solutions to our challenges, and to update one another regarding our PMT initiatives – or, three-year plans for growth.
Bradley is in North Carolina exploring the Spanish publications marketplace. Julie had a phone interview with the actor Jon Voigt on Thursday, and she’ll be going to Paris next week as New London’s rep for the employee union meeting. Our team is not a part of the union, which is European, but we are invited guests all the same.
Dan C, Steve Mueller, Deborah and Kathleen will travel to Montreal on Sunday to present the Living With Christ USA strategy and to discover what other LWC teams around the world are doing at the international meeting next week. Deborah will return Tuesday, Kathleen will return to work Thursday and Dan Connors will be back on November 14.
Also, thanks to everyone who worked very hard to make the Open House a success. Your efforts speak for themselves, and many of our visitors expressed deep appreciation for our Bayard team’s warm hospitality. Interdesign, Ltd., our architecture firm, asked if their thanks specifically could be communicated to the whole team. They noted that they have designed many, many buildings but this is the first time they have been invited back to see the job they’ve done. They said it was a wonderful experience to be able to do that.

Wow! Now that I've given everyone information load, have a Disney day!!!
