Lise-Marie contacted us this morning to share an update on her husband’s recovery from yesterdays surgery. Unfortunately, Mark remains quite weak and many complications continue. To support Lise-Marie during these exhausting times and to pray for Mark’s healing, you are invited to gather in the large conference room today at 2:00 pm for a brief prayer.

To all,
Mark had his gallbladder removed around 3:30 yesterday afteroon, he was in the recovery room until 10:00pm. He slept for about three hours last night and has been up in excrutiating pain since 2:15. He tried to walk at 3:00am and was so weak and shaky we only made it about 30 feet and returned to bed, requested more pain meds and found that he was bleeding from one of the incisions.
We waited for a surgical resident to come and remove the plastic covering as the nurse did not feel confident to make a dressing change. He finally came up at 5:40 changed the dressing and said it was "red" - great explanation NOT.
Mark is shaking constantly and it is not from being cold, and I am worried sick. The resident said put another blanket on which we did and now he is shaking and sweating.
We are waiting now for the PA/Doctor on call to come in this morning which should be in the next two hours. Mark keeps saying this surgery is worse then the other two and that something feels wrong.

Please Please Please Please keep him in your prayers. I have to believe that we have not gone through all of this for nothing. There has to be some light in the tunnel. I will keep you posted.
