Traffic Delays
There is construction on the Northbound Gold Star Bridge today. There are only 1-2 lanes open; work should be finished by day’s end but it may be slow-going.

Cruise ship has docked in the harbor earlier today; try to avoid downtown and Bank Street on your way home.

Flu Shots
We are about 3 people short for having a Flu Shot Clinic at Bayard. If you would like a flu shot and haven’t let Kerry M. know, please tell her today. Otherwise we will not be able to have the Clinic here as we have in the past years. Thanks.

This Month
September is “be kind to editors and writers month.” Be sure this month to remember our editors and writers with a smile, a pat on the back, or even a reassuring hug, along with a note that you recall at least one time recently where someone remembered subject-verb agreement or used “it” instead of “they” correctly! Happy editors and writers month!

Phone Update
The voice mail system is still down so you will continue to hear ringing phones throughout the day. Our vendor is working on the voice mail computer and will most likely have it repaired by the end of today. A big thanks to customer service for keeping things running smoothly and efficiently in spite of this temporary setback!

Agata will be working for Karen on a temporary basis this week and next. She’s worked for us in the past but left to take care of her newborn baby girl.
