Thank You
Bret wanted to express his thanks for all the work you did in tidying up in preparation for our guests this week. It was a good experience for them and more than one expressed to him a good spirit of welcome and hospitality here in New London. Bret is very please and happy for all your extra effort in providing such a great atmosphere to everyone who visited and for those of us working here too. Thanks for finding the time to put this all together in addition to your already hectic work days.
In the spirit of thanks during this Thanksgiving season the office will close at 3 o’clock on Wednesday, the 26th.

Kitchen
Please remember to clean up after yourself when using the kitchen. For the last two weeks or so the counters have been left dirty with spilled sugar, coffee grounds, etc.

Message from Julie
Some of you have expressed interest in seeing pictures from my recent travels for work (Kenya, Greece, Turkey) and vacation (Amsterdam), so here are some pictures and captions. Thank you for all your kind prayers and welcome-back wishes. Enjoy!

Water
Bayard is now offering cold spring water for us to enjoy. It is in the cubicle near Bret with the snacks. Feel free to help yourself but we'd appreciate it if you would refrain from watering plants with it.

And speaking of snacks...The snack coin box has come up a bit short lately. Please remember to pay for your snack when you choose one.

Prayer for Leadership
Give us O God,
leaders whose hearts are large enough
to match the breadth of our own souls
and give us souls strong enough
to follow leaders of vision and wisdom

In seeking a leader, let us seek
more than development for ourselves—
though development we hope for
more than security for our own land—
though security we need—
more than satisfaction for our wants—
though many things we desire.

Give us the hearts to choose the leader
who will work with other leaders
to bring safety
to the whole world.

Give us leaders
who lead this nation to virtue
without seeking to impose our kind of virtue
on the virtue of others.

Give us a government that provides for the advancement
of this country
without taking resources from others
to achieve it.

Election Day
As you know, tomorrow is Election Day and we would like to encourage everyone to vote. As reported in the media the voting stations could be very busy. Some of us may prefer to vote in the morning but are concerned about getting to work on time. If you come to work wearing an “I voted” sticker and are a few minutes late, we will patriotically look the other way.

International Seminar
Several visitors from Paris and St. Louis will be here Nov 17-18 for product development meetings.
