Welcome
Please help me and the accounting department to welcome our newest member Patty Musella. Patty will be responsible for the Accounts Payable area as well as helping in the Accounts Receivable area and the month end closing reconciliations. Patty comes to us with varied experience in accounting including receivables, payables, journal entries, balancing accounts at month end closing having worked for Smurfit-Stone Enterprises for over 8 years and just recently for Mallon Chevrolet. We look very much forward to having such a well versed and enthusiastic team.
As most if not all know I will be undergoing back surgery and due to the length of time needed by the neurosurgeon to make the openings in three disks and the orthopedic surgeon to put the metal pins and plates in for reinforcements my surgery has been delayed a bit so that I may donate my own blood for transfusion purposes, therefore, it will take approximately four to five weeks for me to donate enough blood which is a necessity to avoid infection. So with this new development I will be in and out of the office. The plan for the near term is to work in the office from 9AM to 12PM each day and then to be available via email and home phone 439-1844 from 3PM to 6PM daily, in addition I will be working my normal early morning hours from home, so you can expect email questions and answers upon your return to the office each morning. Yes there are days that I work at 4:30 AM. Again, thank you for all your kind wishes and prayers they really mean the world to me.
As we are in a transitional stage in the accounting department I will be spending time with each accounting department member to review the open areas of opportunity that we see for improvement of systems and procedures. May God continue to bless us with courage to continue making the improvements and guide us along the way.
