A correction from Julie on Pride and Prejudice show timesHi everyone,A correction to the show dates for Pride and Prejudice. The Saturday evening shows (March 8 and 15) are at 8 p.m. (to allow an appropriate interval of time after the previous show at 4 p.m). All other evening shows are still at 7 p.m.You can purchase tickets by calling the office at 860-443-3119 and mailing in a check made out to Flock Theatre. AN INVITATION FROM JULIEHi everyone! Wonderful news! I am playing Elizabeth Bennet in Flock Theatre’s production of Pride and Prejudice. I’m sending this message early because we are doing advance ticketing, on account of limited seating (so please call the office soon if you would like to come!). Here are the details: WHAT: Pride and Prejudice, performed by Flock Theatre WHERE: The Shaw Mansion, New London (info/directions: www.newlondonhistory.org) WHEN: March 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 16 at 7 p.m. March 8 and 15 (Saturdays) at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. TICKETS: $20 (Sorry! Unfortunately, due to the limited seating — the space is intimate and only seats about 40 folks per show — we had to raise the price, and I don’t get comps this time. There are no pay-what-you-can nights or open dress rehearsals.) There are, I believe, discounts for seniors, military, and kids. HOW TO RESERVE TICKETS: Call Flock at 860-443-3119. If you have any problems, let me know. GENERAL INFO: • We’re not doing British accents• Seats are advance-reserved but general admission (that is, not assigned seats)• I highly suggest you come early in order to find parking!! New Hire
Catholic Digest has hired a Circulation Marketing Assistant. She will start tomorrow and sit across from Danielle. More information to follow. Tragedy in Missouri
A gunman killed two police officers and three city officials on Thursday night when he stormed into a city council meeting in a suburb of St. Louis. Kirkwood is very near to our warehouse in Missouri. Please say a prayer for our friends and colleagues at Creative Communications as they reach out to their community and loved ones during this difficult time.
Massage UpdateOur Massage Therapist is coming 2 afternoons a month on Thursdays. Anyone who is not on Andrea’s Massage Club email, but would like to receive newsletters in case you might want to sign up for a massage now and then, let her know and she will add you to her email group.
