Christmas Cards
The Sales & Marketing Dept. needs some help in addressing, stuffing, sealing and stamping Christmas cards. If you are able to help, please see Kerry M. Thanks.

Angel Tree
Please consider purchasing a gift for a person with a gift tag on the Christmas tree. A few gifts have already been placed under the tree and they look great!

New Calendar
There is a link to the circulation calendar on the blog. Instead of receiving a paper schedule from now on, customer service staff should refer to the one on the blog.

Visitors
Representatives of QSP will be here Friday for meetings with Kathleen, Valerie, and Marilyn.

Remembering a Veteran
Correction: For security reasons no military facility will accept cards or packages addressed to "Recovering Veteran," or in any similar manner. My apologies for not verifying this before posting.

Christmas Decorations
We’d like to do something different for the decorations on the Christmas tree here in New London. Instead of using the ornaments we’ve used for so many years, please bring in an ornament from home. But not just any ornament. Bring in one that reflects your personality, hobbies, interests, family, etc. You can take it home when we take the tree down.

Angel Tree
Amy will soon hang the paper ornaments on our tree to use as name tags for the gifts for the two local families mentioned at the meeting last week. Please consider taking a tag and purchasing the appropriate gift. If you take a tag, please tell Amy so she can record it. Please return the wrapped gifts to Amy by Dec. 14th.

Christmas Party
Just a reminder that the Christmas party is at the Mystic Hilton on Dec. 14th. We're having a Mystical Brunch and rumor has it that there will be an omelette station, Mimosas, and Bloody Marys.

Refrigerator
At 4:00 today the refrigerators will be cleaned out. Eveything in question will be thrown out unless it has a name on it.

Thanksgiving
Hope you have a very special Thanksgiving holiday and enjoy the four days off! It's a wonderful time for sharing with family and friends and to reflect on how blessed we truly are. Enjoy!

More Than A Day
As Thanksgiving Day rolls around,

It brings up some facts, quite profound.
We may think that we're poor,
Feel like bums, insecure,
But in truth, our riches astound.
We have friends and family we love;

We have guidance from heaven above.
We have so much more
Than they sell in a store,
We're wealthy, when push comes to shove.
So add up your blessings, I say;

Make Thanksgiving last more than a day.
Enjoy what you've got;
Realize it's a lot,
And you'll make all your cares go away.

There are two boilers in the building and one is broken. The other one is trying to keep up with the demand. The repairmen are here trying to fix it so we should have heat later this morning.

Inclement Weather Watch
We will continue to use ext. 208 as an alert for work delays or cancellations. Early on the morning of a snow storm, call into work at 437-3012 and dial ext. 208 for an announcement about whether work is delayed.
